Sausagey Santa

Sausagey Santa - Carlton Mellick III I have no idea why, but I think this was the perfect little slice of Christmas spirit to fall asleep to on Christmas Eve. It was a hell of an adventure, something like an acid trip or (as another reviewer put it,) an episode of Adventure Time. This book had just enough weirdness to satisfy my craving for the unconventional but it still maintained tiny bits and pieces of tradition, albeit bastardized ones.

This was a surprisingly not-so-gory work, and considering CM3's legacy, I kind of missed the carnage. Definitely something I would read again though - probably next year.

If you're looking for an unconventional, slightly gross thrill with cool (if not insane) mythology, some (intentional) campiness, and just the right amount of holiday spirit, look no further. You've found it.
